We downed him tonight. I will be posting a video of the kill soon, after it's converted and uploaded to youtube. However, some of you guys might be hitting these bosses soon, so I wanted to share with you the information we were using.
Okay, everyone should read this:

But to summarize, all we need to worry about is whoever is empowered at the time and the kinetic bomb. I misunderstood the mechanics of one of these things, and so I'm going to list the 3 empowered abilities here so we can be sure how to deal with them.
1. Valanar - Kinetic bomb. The only thing we really have to worry about that's not empowered. When the kinetic bomb comes out, ranged dps has to keep hitting it to keep it up in the air so it doesn't hit the ground. Pretend it's a beach ball at a concert.
2. Valanar - Empowered Shock Wave. This is the one that we have to be spread out for. It targets everyone and puts a shock vortex on them. This behaves like Gruul's Shatter and can stack up if you're too close (less than 14 yds) away from others. Put your range checker on 15 yds to be safe. This will be especially painful on 25 man with all the melee, but on 10 man I don't think we're going to have an issue.
3. Keleseth - Empowered Shadow Lance. Purely the ranged tank's concern. I think we all understand it enough, it's all shadow damage, and is key that the ranged tank have as many stacks of the debuff on them from the orbs.
4. Taldaran - Empowered Conjure Flame. This is the one I sort of understood, but not quite. I kept hearing, run to X (whoever had the flame targeted on them). That's not correct. You absolutely do NOT want to be near that person when it hits as that's extra splash damage you will take. What you have to do is be in front of X, every person the ball passes within 10 yds of pulls a piece of the flameball off, making it less powerful. So we have to move between the ball and X as much as we can so X takes less damage. Basically if Taldaran becomes the one empowered we should try and get arranged in a line so that whoever gets targeted can run to the back of the line. If we had more melee, they would automatically suck off a lot of the flame, so this part will be easier on 25 man, but harder for us with all the ranged.
I know the battle is crazy and there's all sorts of stuff happening, but the key is to keep track of who is empowered and prepare for the empowered ability that boss will cast.
